Images¶
The system supports two ways of adding images: you can either enter a link such as http://example.com/image.jpg or upload your own image. Once you have done this, you can start entering information about the image, such as the license, author, and name. There can only be one main image per destination. If you want to add multiple images, you can do so using the Image property.
Create an image for a new tourist attraction¶
Images can be added directly to the form when you enter other information about your tourist attraction. In the Main image field, click on the magnifying glass to search for existing images or create an image directly.
Change main image for existing tourist attraction¶
Once you have created your tourist attraction and added an image, you can now only access the image via the tourist attraction overview, not in the form. Click on the three-dot menu and always start with: - Remove the link Then you can click on the magnifying glass and do the following: - Create a new image - Link to an existing image
Format and size¶
The preferred formats are JPG, JPEG, SVG, and PNG, and the images should be landscape rather than portrait.
The resizing service first reduces the width of the image (scaling down, not cropping) and then crops it to fit mobile devices, computers, thumbnails, etc. However, the first time it is downloaded, the entire image is downloaded, which means that it can take a long time to load the pages if the images are large and have not been downloaded for a long time. The recommended size is therefore 1280 x 720.
Overview of images¶
In the left-hand menu, click on "Photo” - Here you will find a list of all available images and you can change/update information about them.
